Classic Fluffy American Pancakes
Ingredients
- 1½ cups (190 g) all-purpose flour
- 3½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp fine sea salt
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1¼ cups (300 ml) whole milk — room temperature
- 1 large egg — room temperature
- 3 Tbsp unsalted butter — melted & cooled + extra for cooking
- 1½ tsp pure vanilla extract
Method
- Whisk dry ingredients together.
- Add wet ingredients → stir gently (lumps OK).
- Rest batter 8–12 min.
- Cook on medium heat until bubbles form.
- Flip and finish cooking.
